Endless Summer: A Winona Tribute to the Beach Boys

Endless Summer: A Winona Tribute to the Beach Boys

Sledding becomes surfing, snow drifts become the ocean, and four Winona bands become the Beach Boys on Friday, January 16th at Ed’s (no name) Bar.  “Endless Summer – A Winona Tribute to the Beach Boys.” is a one-night-only Winter gone Summer beach party that will showcase four locally grown rock ‘n’ roll acts and one fabulously surferific DJ. The night will be carried on a wave of timeless Summertime jams that evoke the feelings that only those kings of the beach can. In addition to the Beach Boys songs, each band will play a couple of their own. So, be sure to head down in your snow-tired Woody to celebrate Summer, Winter, and Winona in true Beach Boys regalia.

And remember, it’s not just the musicians getting stoked on that Summertime gladness.  Attendees are encouraged to ride the waves as well. Be sure to don your freshest Summer beach swag and accessories. It may be a little hard to wrap your brain around that idea in the middle of January, but mix yourself a pineapple rummy and just try and think— what would Brian Wilson do?
