Amanda Grace

Amanda is a graduate of Winona State University in Winona, MN where she lives with her husband and two children. At WSU she earned a degree in communication studies and music. She completed, “Trains, Cars, & A Trip To Mars,” in 2010 in memory of her nephew Bryce who was lost to leukemia. Amanda began her second album project in the fall of 2010 called, “Embrace,” with her sister Wilhelmina and local musicians. Embrace is an Alternative album with 16 songs including two cover songs. Her sister Mina Lewis sang “Aint No Way” by Carolyn Franklin and Amanda covered, “At Last.” Most of the pieces are her writing; and two pieces were co-written by herself and Linda Corey, who overcame breast cancer and wanted to share her poetry, which now are lyrics to “You Can Win,” and “Pages Of My Heart.” Local artists & musicians featured on this album are: Aleah Harvey, Jake Ilika, Scott Lochner, John Stampka, Jim Trouten & Rich McDonald, and Stephanie Kuglin.
