Sarah in her own words:

“I’ve been in Winona since the turn of the century, and I love it. So much art, music, funky goodness, natural beauty. Music was always a part of my life as a young person and I got distracted by other things for a long time, so I am very excited to be making music again these last few years. I am honored to be a vocalist with Manfort (rock/roots/blues) and the Old Fashioneds (old time jazz and rock ‘n ‘roll) and I have had the privilege of being a guest vocalist with Limestone Cowboy. I am a regularly featured performer for my cats, Frankie and Ilse, typically vocals and fake tap dancing in my kitchen and living room. I often make up comedy routines while I’m driving, out loud to myself and yes, I ‘m hilarious, I believe. I would consider myself a multimedia artist, painting and drawing being my first loves. My visual art can be spotted in random and sundry places, including Winona’s Handmade Neighborhood sale, on mnartist.org, on Mike Munson’s cd, and on the bathroom walls at Ed’s (No Name) Bar.”
