RADDERDAZE: Sweat Boys, Wood Chickens, and The Ultrasounds at Ed’s (no name) Bar

RADDERDAZE is every first Saturday of the month at Ed’s (no name) Bar bringing you rad bands for less clams.

SWEAT BOYS
(dude party dance)
La Crosse, WI

Sweat Boys have a very literal band name. They’re some of the sweatiest boys I’ve ever seen and you’ll be sweating with them after you’re forced to gyrate and grind to their infectious dance music. With anthems like “Call More Dudes” and “Like to Party” you’ll be driven to actions you never thought you were capable of. I hope no one’s opposed to a little bit of leather.

WOOD CHICKENS
(psych punk country)

Madison, WI

Wood Chickens—just three fellas from Madison, Wisconsin playing them fast and tight.  A seamless blend of psychedelic rock, punk, and old-school country that will have you moshing in your cowboy hats.  Bring your dancing boots too because it’s going to be a radical rock ‘n’ roll hoedown.

THE ULTRASOUNDS
(sludgy garage pop)

Winona, MN

The Ultrasounds used to be 3 chicks and 1 dude playing sludgy garage pop and drinking Steel Reserve. And while they still are—now they drink more gin and craft beers than before, and one of them became an art teacher. Don’t think they’ve lost sight of what’s actually important though. They’re still playing noisy rock ‘n’ roll music and as many shows in as many cities as possible.
