The Heavy Set album release show at Ed’s (no name) Bar Saturday with Erik Koskinen

The Heavy Set released their new album, Everybody’s Got A Mountain, online on Tuesday, November 3, and will celebrate the physical release of the album with a release show at Ed’s (No-Name) Bar (252 E. 3rd Street, Winona, Minnesota, 55987), with Minneapolis country-rock staple Erik Koskinen closing the night.

The full-length follow up to their self-titled March 2014 EP, Everybody’s Got A Mountain was produced and engineered by Erik Koskinen at his Real Phonic Studios in Northeast Minneapolis over the first half of 2015.  Three of the nine tracks were recorded at the Institute for Production and Recording (IPR) with Kevin Bowe engineering a song.  The album features guest spots by Minnesota musicians Jillian Rae (Corpse Reviver, Steve Kaul & The Brass Kings), Dylan Nau (Apollo Cobra, Nicholas David) Siri Undlin (Undlin & Wolfe), Max “Maxaphone” Felsheim (Root City, Nicolas David, also a Winona native), as well as Koskinen stepping away from the board to lend his guitar talents.
